Police seek missing man in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 37-year-old man last seen more than a month ago.

Simir Boyd was last seen on Jan. 5 at approximately 7 p.m. on the 2000 block of South 22nd Street, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.

Boyd, of Philadelphia, is described as a Black male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

He was last seen wearing a black puffy jacket, gray and blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black boots.

Police say Boyd is known to frequent the area of South Broad Street and Catharine Street.

The South Detective Division is leading the investigation into his whereabouts.
