MERIDEN, CT — A man already incarcerated on robbery charges has been served with an arrest warrant in connection with an armed robbery at a gas station.
Guardy Roman, 32, of Meriden, was charged with robbery in the first degree and larceny in the third degree.
Officers responded to the Citgo Gas Station at 182 Colony Street on Oct. 31, 2025, at approximately 7:35 p.m. for a reported armed robbery.
The investigation revealed that a male suspect, armed with a knife, jumped over the counter, removed money from the cash register and fled the scene.
Officers recovered several pieces of evidence during the investigation, which identified Roman as the suspect responsible for the robbery.
An arrest warrant was submitted and approved.
Roman is being held on a $100,000 court-set bond.
Between September and November, the Meriden Police Department investigated a series of nine armed robberies believed to have been committed by two individuals.
Four of the robberies were committed by a suspect who used a knife while targeting two local gas stations.
On Nov. 6, 2025, officers responded to 182 Colony Street for another armed robbery and located a suspect shortly after fleeing the area.
Roman was charged in that incident.
