ALBANY, NY — Detectives executed a search warrant at a residence on the 600 block of Warren Street near Ontario Street on Wednesday around 1:05 p.m. as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
During the search, detectives from the Albany Police Department’s Community Response Unit recovered a quantity of MDMA pills.
Ashunte Hunt, 36, of Albany, was located inside the residence and was taken into custody.
Hunt has been charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, and one count of criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree.
He was arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail.
