WASHINGTON, VT — A 22-year-old man was arrested on domestic assault charges following a dispute on Feb. 11, 2026.
Vermont State Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute at approximately 5:42 p.m.
Troopers made contact with all parties involved and conducted an on-scene investigation.
The investigation determined that David Henault, 22, of Washington, had committed the offense of first degree aggravated domestic assault.
While attempting to take Henault into custody, he resisted arrest, police said.
He was transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing.
Henault was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Orange County Criminal Division on Feb. 12 at 12:30 p.m.
