PELHAM, NH — A Windham man faces drunken driving charges after crashing his vehicle on Marsh Road early Thursday morning.
Pelham police officers were dispatched to the area of 158 Marsh Road at 2:18 a.m. for a motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, officers located a 2009 Subaru Impreza that had exited the westbound lane of Marsh Road, causing damage to property and significant damage to the vehicle.
The driver was identified as Ronald Chirichiello, 27, of Windham.
Cpl. Michael Kasiske investigated the accident and determined Chirichiello was under the influence and subsequently arrested him.
Chirichiello was charged with driving under the influence and criminal mischief.
He was released on personal recognizance with an arraignment date of Feb. 19 at Salem District Court at 8 a.m.
The crash was the second motor vehicle accident of the evening resulting in an arrest for driving under the influence in Pelham.
