EWING TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Trenton man has been arrested in connection with two residential burglaries that occurred in Lawrence Township during January and February.
Jeffery Frayne, 54, of Trenton, was taken into custody Tuesday in the area of the ShopRite on Olden Avenue.
The Lawrence Township Police Department investigated two residential burglaries that occurred in the 800 block of Lawrence Road.
In each incident, a suspect was observed on video surveillance entering a victim’s detached garage during overnight hours and stealing various items from within.
Detective Dean Sawasky led the investigation that identified Frayne as the suspect.
On Tuesday, Sawasky and Detective Suzanne Girard conducted follow-up investigation and located Frayne in Ewing Township.
Frayne was positively identified and arrested.
He was charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of theft.
Frayne was transported to the Mercer County Correctional Center, where he is being held pending a detention hearing.
