Woman sought in retail theft at Palmer Township grocery store

PALMER TOWNSHIP, PA — Police are seeking the public’s help identifying a woman suspected of stealing more than $100 worth of groceries from a local supermarket.

The incident occurred at approximately 11 a.m. Saturday at the Weis Market at 3011 William Penn Highway.

According to the Palmer Township Police Department, the woman entered the store, selected numerous food items and left without paying.

The total value of the stolen items was $107.77.

The suspect was last seen leaving in a 2009 Nissan Rogue with Pennsylvania registration.
