CORTLANDVILLE, NY — A 27-year-old woman faces multiple charges after a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning.
Brianne D. Cooley, of Homer, was arrested at approximately 2:44 a.m. on February 7, 2026, following a crash on Kinney Gulf Road.
According to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office, an officer discovered the crash at approximately 2:30 a.m.
Investigators determined Cooley was operating the vehicle when she lost control and went off the roadway into a snow bank.
Cooley was found to be operating the motor vehicle while intoxicated, according to the sheriff’s office.
She was taken into custody and transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office for processing.
Cooley was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18% or higher, failure to keep right and moved from lane unsafely.
She was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Town of Cortlandville Court on February 23, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. for arraignment.
