PELHAM, NH — A Hudson man faces multiple charges after crashing into a tree during the evening commute Wednesday.
Police and fire personnel responded to 63 Tallant Road at approximately 5:05 p.m. for a report of a vehicle that struck a tree.
Officers found a red 2015 Cadillac SRX with heavy front-end damage.
The driver was identified as James Frederick, 51, of Hudson.
Officer Glynn determined that Frederick was traveling west on Tallant Road when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree.
Frederick was the only occupant and no other vehicles were involved.
The investigation determined that Frederick was under the influence and he was subsequently arrested.
He was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Frederick was charged with Driving Under the Influence – Subsequent Offense, Operating After Being Certified Habitual Offender and Driving After Suspension for DUI.
He was held on $2,500 cash bail and transported to Valley Street Jail.
Frederick is scheduled to be arraigned at Salem District Court on Thursday at 8 a.m.
