NEW CUMBERLAND, PA — Police have arrested a man in connection with an assault at a local store that left a victim with severe injuries.
Christopher Barrett, 46, of New Cumberland, was arrested Jan. 23 on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment.
The Fairview Township Police Department responded to a reported assault at a store in the 100 block of Old York Road at 7:37 a.m. on Dec. 8.
Officers located the victim, who had sustained severe injuries.
The investigation revealed the victim was assaulted by a co-worker.
Officers reviewed surveillance camera footage of the incident as part of their investigation.
Barrett was identified as the suspect.
