PLYMOUTH, NY — New York State Police arrested Mark A. Lunsford, 30, of Norwich on Feb. 8, 2026, for the class E felony of attempted assault in the second degree and the misdemeanor of criminal mischief in the fourth degree.
Just after 1 p.m., troopers were dispatched to a domestic dispute on County Road 19 in the town of Plymouth.
An investigation determined that after a disagreement with a victim, Lunsford punched the victim then struck the victim in the head with a glass liquor bottle causing it to break.
The fight was broken apart by a third party and Lunsford left the scene.
Lunsford was located at a residence in the city of Norwich and arrested.
He was transported to SP Norwich, then transported to the Chenango County Jail for centralized arraignment.
