TOPSHAM, VT — A 43-year-old woman was arrested on domestic assault and felony unlawful mischief charges following a family disturbance Sunday night.
Troopers from the Saint Johnsbury Barracks were notified of the disturbance at a residence on Harts Road at 7:24 p.m. Feb. 9, 2026.
Troopers responded to the scene and learned that the victim had been assaulted by a household member.
Investigation also revealed that Tonya Salomaa, of Topsham, had damaged property that did not belong to her.
Salomaa was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Saint Johnsbury State Police Barracks for processing.
