ORWELL, VT — Two Bridport men are facing sexual assault charges involving a juvenile following an investigation by Vermont State Police.
Christian Leggett, 25, of Bridport, was cited on a charge of sexual assault.
Therran Leggett, 27, of Bridport, was cited on a charge of aggravated sexual assault with a child.
Detectives with the Vermont State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations assigned to the New Haven Barracks began investigating a reported sexual assault on Oct. 18.
After investigation, detectives determined that Christian Leggett had unlawful sexual contact with a juvenile during the summer of 2023.
Detectives also determined that Therran Leggett had unlawful sexual contact with the same juvenile from June to August.
Both men were issued citations on Feb. 10 to appear before the Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division on Feb. 17.
