RUTLAND TOWN, VT — Troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks were notified of a single-vehicle crash on Prospect Hill Road on Feb. 9, 2026.
The crash occurred at approximately 6:16 p.m.
Anne Souza, 18, of Rutland, was traveling eastbound on Prospect Hill Road in a 2006 Hyundai Sonata.
Souza was unable to maintain her lane of travel, and the vehicle exited the roadway.
The vehicle struck a telephone pole.
The vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage.
Souza was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
Weather and road conditions were clear at the time of the crash.
