DORCHESTER, MA — A man was arrested on multiple drug-related offenses following the execution of a search warrant Thursday.
Juan Romero, 31, of Dorchester, was taken into custody by officers assigned to the Boston Police Department’s Citywide Drug Control Unit along with the Everett Police Drug Control Unit.
Officers applied for and were granted a search warrant for 174 Hamilton Street in Dorchester.
During the search, officers recovered 8 grams of fentanyl, 23 grams of crack cocaine, a digital scale and approximately $1,634 in U.S. currency.
Romero is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court on charges of trafficking of Class B, possession with intent to distribute Class A and possession with intent to distribute Class B.
