Man arrested for retail theft in Greenville

GREENVILLE, PA — A 19-year-old man was arrested after allegedly stealing a pregnancy test from a store.

Demario Ingram, of Greenville, grabbed the item and ran out of the store on Jan. 19, according to staff.

He was charged with retail theft.

GREENVILLE, PA — A 43-year-old man faces charges following a domestic incident near Mercer Street.

Richard Keppel, of Greenville, was charged with simple assault and harassment on Jan. 21.

Vehicle crashes into stop sign, parked car in Greenville

GREENVILLE, PA — A vehicle hit a patch of ice and crashed into a stop sign and parked vehicle early Jan. 24.

Officers observed the accident at West Main Street and South Diamond at around 3 a.m.

The vehicle was traveling west on West Main Street when it hit ice and was unable to turn, going over a sidewalk before striking the sign and parked vehicle.

The vehicle required towing.

The driver did not report any injuries.

GREENVILLE, PA — A 44-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants during a traffic stop.

David Brock, of Jamestown, was encountered at around 12:46 p.m. Jan. 24.

He was arrested on warrants out of the District Attorney’s office and Michigan.

Brock was committed to the Mercer County Jail.

GREENVILLE, PA — A 56-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence after an officer observed erratic driving.

Daniel Mcquiston, of Greenville, was seen driving in the middle of the roadway, making an improper turn and driving onto the curb of a business in the area of Main Street and College Avenue at around 9:37 p.m. Jan. 24.

After a DUI investigation, Mcquiston was released to a sober individual.

GREENVILLE, PA — A 42-year-old woman was arrested for driving under the influence in the area of Main Street and College Avenue on Jan. 24.

Sarah Prugh, of Greenville, was released to a sober individual after a DUI investigation was completed.

GREENVILLE, PA — A 20-year-old man faces assault and terroristic threat charges following a domestic incident.

Officers responded to the incident at around 4 a.m. Jan. 26, where Frank Folsom, of New Gloucester, Maine, was found to be highly intoxicated.

Police discovered he had assaulted multiple victims with his hands and a snow shovel, and threatened them with a knife.

Folsom was committed to the Mercer County Jail.

Commercial truck collides with street signs in Greenville

GREENVILLE, PA — A commercial truck and trailer collided with street signs in the area of Lancaster Avenue and York Street at around 5 p.m. Jan. 28.

National Fuel inspected the nearby gas line and found no damage.

The driver was cited for careless driving.

GREENVILLE, PA — A 33-year-old man was arrested after allegedly stealing a vehicle in front of its owner.

The vehicle was reported stolen at around 10 p.m. Jan. 30 and was located at Sheetz in Greenville.

Stephen Hensen was arrested and charged with motor vehicle theft and false identification to law enforcement after he refused to identify himself to police.

Hensen was committed to the Mercer County Jail.

Pickup truck slides into school bus in Greenville

GREENVILLE, PA — A pickup truck slid into the back of a school bus due to icy road conditions at Main Street and Columbia Avenue.

Officers responded to the accident at around 8:15 a.m
