STROUD TOWNSHIP, PA — A 61-year-old man turned himself in to police Friday on a retail theft charge.
Antonio Gracia, of Pennsylvania, surrendered at the Stroud Area Regional Police Department at 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 6.
Police said they responded to Weis Markets at 1070 North Ninth Street on Feb. 2 for a report of a retail theft.
A retail crime investigator told police a man entered the store and concealed various items on his person before exiting without paying, according to police.
The stolen merchandise was valued at $57.33, police said.
Video of the incident was provided to police, who identified the suspect as Gracia, according to authorities.
Police said Gracia has two prior convictions for retail theft.
Gracia was transported to Magisterial District Judge Gasper’s office for arraignment and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
