WARRINGTON, PA — Police have charged a man in connection with a retail theft at a wholesale club.
Thomas Wesley Lawless Jr., 48, of Warrington, faces charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property.
On Jan. 12, Warrington Police responded to BJ’s Wholesale Club for a reported retail theft.
Upon arrival, officers were advised by loss prevention that Lawless had stolen multiple items from the store.
Loss prevention reported Lawless selected numerous items, opened the packages and then concealed the merchandise in his pockets while inside the store.
Lawless then exited the business without paying for the concealed items.
The total value of the stolen merchandise was $184.93.
On Feb. 2, Lawless was processed in connection with the theft.
