SAUGERTIES, NY — Police arrested a 30-year-old man on drunken driving charges following a single-vehicle crash on Glasco Turnpike.
Jonathan S. Babbs, of Saugerties, was taken into custody at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 5 in the Mount Marion area.
Officers responded to a report of a one-car motor vehicle accident.
Following an investigation, Babbs was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, both misdemeanors.
He was also cited for other traffic violations.
Babbs was processed at the Saugerties Police Department and released on uniform traffic tickets.
He is scheduled to appear in Town of Saugerties Justice Court at a later date.
