Woman arrested on multiple charges in South Windsor

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — South Windsor police arrested a Middletown woman on multiple charges Thursday after she allegedly violated court orders by approaching a victim and their children.

Kristen M. Woodward, 51, of Middletown, was arrested at 5:17 p.m. Thursday in the Target parking lot.

Police said Woodward is prohibited from having contact with the victim and their children due to court orders.

Officers determined Woodward had located the victim and their children during pick-up at a local school and followed them to Target, where she made contact with them.

Woodward was charged with two counts of risk of injury to a child, second-degree breach of peace, first-degree stalking, interfering with an emergency call, violation of a protective order and criminal violation of a restraining order.

She was processed and released on $15,000 bond.

Woodward is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court Friday at 9 a.m.

In a separate incident, police arrested two people Thursday evening at Target on larceny-related charges.

Kyle W. Bouchard, 35, of Bloomfield, and Dayna M. Lomnicky, 31, of Vernon, were arrested at 7:47 p.m. Thursday.

Officers responded to Target for a larceny in progress.

Police said Bouchard initially refused to provide his information to officers.

Officers determined the pair attempted to steal multiple items by improperly scanning at the self-checkout.

Bouchard was charged with interfering with officers and criminal attempt at larceny.

He was processed and released on $10,000 bond.

Lomnicky was charged with criminal attempt at larceny and was issued a misdemeanor summons and released at the scene.

Both are scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Feb. 25 at 9 a.m.
