Two teenagers arrested on vandalism charges in Highland

HIGHLAND, NY — Two 14-year-old residents were arrested Thursday in connection with vandalism to town property.

Lloyd Police said the male and female teenagers are accused of causing over $1,400 worth of damage to the bathroom of the new Lewis DiStasi Pavilion.

The 14-year-old male was charged with felony criminal mischief in the third degree and conspiracy in the fifth degree.

The 14-year-old female was charged with conspiracy in the fifth degree.

Both teenagers were released to their parents on an Ulster County Family Court appearance ticket.

They are due at Ulster County Probation on Feb. 19, 2026.
