Man arrested on vandalism charge in West Warwick

WEST WARWICK, RI — A Warwick man was arrested on a vandalism charge on Feb. 4, 2026.

Vincent DeSantis Jr., 59, of Warwick, was arrested by the West Warwick Police Department on one count of Vandalism/Malicious Damage to Property.

The arrest was made by the Gaming Enforcement Unit on an Affidavit/Arrest Warrant.

DeSantis was transported to Third District Court for arraignment.

He was arraigned by the Honorable Judge Goulart and released on $1,000 personal recognizance.

Man arrested on stolen vehicle charges in Providence

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was arrested on multiple vehicle-related charges on Feb. 4, 2026.

Jolon O’Connor, 46, of Providence, was arrested at 5 a.m. by members of the Auto Theft Task Force, the ACI Investigations Unit, and the Intelligence Unit.

O’Connor faces charges of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle (2 Counts) and Possession of a Motor Vehicle With Altered VIN (2 Counts).

He was transported to Rhode Island State Police Headquarters for processing and then turned over to officials at Sixth District Court for arraignment.

Two men arrested on firearm charges in Lincoln

LINCOLN, RI — Two Providence men were arrested on firearm-related charges on Feb. 4, 2026.

Benjamin Barclay, 24, of Providence, was arrested by members of the Rhode Island State Police HIDTA Task Force.

Barclay faces charges of Possession of a Firearm While Committing a Controlled Substance Violation, Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver – Schedule I/II, and Possession of a Stolen Firearm.

Jaymani Perry, 20, of Providence, was also arrested by members of the Rhode Island State Police HIDTA Task Force.

Perry was charged with Possession of a Ghost Gun.

Both men were processed at the Lincoln Barracks and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.

They were later transported to the ACI Intake Center pending their arraignment in Sixth District Court.
