HALEDON, NJ — A 69-year-old man died following a two-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon.
The crash occurred at approximately 2:38 p.m. in the area of Hobart Avenue and Tilt Street, according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Haledon Chief of Police Angelo Daniele.
A Nissan Altima and a Ford Escape collided at the intersection.
The side passenger in the Ford Escape, a 69-year-old man from Haledon, was transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Three other occupants of the Ford Escape and the driver of the Nissan Altima were also transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for further evaluation.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
