LAWRENCE, MA — The Street Crimes Unit, in collaboration with the Quality-of-Life Task Force and officials from the Inspectional Services Department, executed a search warrant at 137 Lawrence Street on Wednesday following a lengthy investigation into illegal gaming activity.
Detectives arrested five adult males on multiple charges, including various gaming-related offenses and narcotics violations.
During the search, detectives seized $16,430 in U.S. currency, approximately five grams of fentanyl, and hundreds of illegal gaming slips and receipts.
Seven illegal slot machines were located on the premises.
All five individuals were transported to the Lawrence Police Department and booked without incident.
