GEORGIA, VT — A single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 89 sent one person to the hospital early Thursday morning.
Vermont State Police from the St. Albans Barracks responded to the crash near mile marker 112 southbound at 6:15 a.m.
Christopher Rooney, 38, of Richford, was driving a 2023 Toyota Tacoma southbound when he lost control due to road conditions.
The vehicle slid into the median and rolled over.
Passenger Dennis Rooney, 42, of Enosburg, suffered a hip injury and was transported to Northwestern Medical Center.
Both occupants were wearing seat belts.
Light snow was falling at the time of the crash, and the road was snow-covered.
The Toyota Tacoma was totaled.
