HAMPDEN, ME — Authorities are continuing their search Wednesday for a missing 78-year-old man.
The Maine State Police is assisting the Hampden Police Department in attempting to locate and check the well-being of Douglas Dunphy of Hampden.
The Maine State Police, Maine Warden Service and Hampden Police Department are conducting a search of Dunphy’s property on Kennebec Road.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area to prevent congestion that could hamper search efforts.
Authorities said there is no risk to the public.
