HOMER, NY — A woman was arrested on a petit larceny charge following an investigation into a shoplifting incident at a village clothing store.
Tiffany A. Sacchi, 42, of Moravia, was arrested Jan. 30 by Homer Police with assistance from New York State Police.
The arrest stemmed from an incident reported to Homer officers on Jan. 14 at the Homer Men and Boys store, located at 9 South Main Street in the Village of Homer.
Through their investigation, officers determined that Sacchi stole articles of clothing from the store.
State troopers from the Auburn barracks located Sacchi at her residence and turned her over to Homer officers.
Sacchi was processed and released on an appearance ticket.
She is scheduled to appear in Town of Homer Court on Feb. 17 at 5 p.m.
Sacchi was released from custody on Feb. 3.
The charge is a class A misdemeanor.
