BOSTON, MA — Boston police are seeking the public’s help to locate a missing 17-year-old girl from Dorchester.
Mela Rosario was reported missing from her Thornley Street residence at about 11 p.m. Thursday.
She has not returned home or been in contact with family since approximately 11:30 a.m. that day.
Rosario was last seen near the Brockton Family Courthouse following a scheduled court appearance and was expected to return home by 10 p.m.
She is described as approximately 5 feet 1 inch tall with brown skin, a medium build, brown eyes and brown, medium-length hair with a blonde streak.
She was last seen wearing a pink jacket, black leggings, brown Ugg boots and glasses with clear black frames.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged to call 911 or contact District C-11 Detectives at (617) 343-4335.
