WEST WARWICK, RI — A Coventry man faces drug charges following a traffic stop early Tuesday morning.
David J. Pizzi, 46, of Coventry, was arrested at 12:05 a.m. on Legris Avenue, according to Rhode Island State Police.
Pizzi was charged with possession of a Schedule I to V controlled substance – 10 grams or less (fentanyl) and possession of a Schedule I to V controlled substance – 10 grams or less (clonazepam).
He was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed and held overnight.
Pizzi was scheduled for arraignment Tuesday morning at Third Division District Court.
