HARRISBURG, PA — A Harrisburg man was arrested on multiple child sex crime charges after allegedly attempting to meet with who he believed was a 15-year-old girl for sex acts.

Joshua Philip Zink, 49, was taken into custody on Jan. 2 by Internet Crimes Against Children investigators with the Derry Township Police Department, in partnership with the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office.

According to police, Zink had been in communication for several days with an undercover ICAC investigator who was posing as a 15-year-old juvenile female.

Police said Zink requested nude images of the female and agreed to pay $150 to meet with who he believed was a juvenile female for sex acts in Derry Township.

Zink was arrested with the assistance of the United States Marshals Service after showing up to the location that he believed the minor would be and had at least $150 in cash, according to police.

He was charged with promoting prostitution of a minor, criminal use of communication facility, corruption of minors, unlawful contact with minor-obscene and other sexual materials, and sexual abuse of children.

Zink was brought to the Dauphin County Booking Center to be arraigned.
