CLINTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Clinton Township woman was arrested after filing a false police report on Jan. 4.
Nicole L. Zizzamia, 44, of Clinton Township, was charged with filing a fictional report to a law enforcement officer, two counts of contempt of court and hindering prosecution.
Police responded to an anonymous allegation of child abuse by residents of a local motel and determined the report was fabricated by another resident.
Zizzamia was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters for processing.
She provided officers with false identification information during processing.
An inquiry revealed she had an NCIC warrant out of Sussex County and a $1,000 ACS warrant out of Hackettstown.
Zizzamia was provided with a copy of her charges and transported to the Hunterdon County Jail.
