RICHMOND, RI — A Fall River, Massachusetts, man was arrested early Monday on drunken driving and disorderly conduct charges after troopers responded to a disabled vehicle on Route 95.
Robert A. Tripp, 32, of Fall River, was arrested at 12:47 a.m. Feb. 2, 2026, according to Rhode Island State Police.
Tripp was charged with driving under the influence of liquor with a blood alcohol content of .15 or greater, second offense, and disorderly conduct.
Police said breath tests showed Tripp had a blood alcohol content of .172 percent in the first phase and .158 percent in the second phase.
Tripp was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.
He was released into the custody of a responsible adult with a notice to appear in Fourth Division District Court.
