NEW LONDON, CT — Animal control officers are investigating after a deceased dog was found in a trash bag Saturday afternoon.
New London Animal Control responded to the area of Gallows Lane and Williams Street at approximately 1:55 p.m. Jan. 31 after receiving a report of a dead dog.
A motorist discovered the trash bag containing the deceased dog and reported it to authorities.
The dog was described as a male, compact, toy-sized dog, tan and black in color.
