PARIS, NY — Four people were injured in a two-car crash at the intersection of State Route 12 and Shanley Road on Jan. 31, 2026.
Deputies responded to the scene at approximately 9:19 p.m., according to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol.
Alexander Toothill, 21, of Tallahassee, Florida, was traveling west on Shanley Road in a 2018 Ford pickup truck when he collided with a 2015 Ford Focus traveling south on State Route 12, driven by Steven Loudon, 68, of Waterville.
Paris Hill Fire Department and Edwards Ambulance responded to the scene.
Steven Loudon and his passenger, Linda Loudon, 67, of Waterville, were both transported to Community Memorial Hospital for their injuries.
Toothill and his passenger, Robert Harriss, 62, of Oriskany Falls, were evaluated by EMS on scene.
None of the injuries appeared life threatening.
Deputies determined that Toothill was at fault for the accident and that he failed to yield the right of way at the stop sign located at the intersection of Shanley Road and State Route 12.
