WATERBURY, VT — A Waterbury man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning.
State police responded to the intersection of Stowe Street and East Street at 12:02 a.m. Feb. 1, 2026.
Troopers identified the operator as Ruben Garcia, 43, of Waterbury.
Garcia was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the crash, which caused major front-end damage to his 2014 Chevrolet Silverado.
Troopers observed signs of impairment and arrested Garcia on suspicion of DUI.
He was processed at the Berlin Barracks and released with a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court, Criminal Division on Feb. 19, 2026 at 8:30 a.m.
