COVENTRY, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a local man on two counts of first degree aggravated domestic assault following a family fight.
Seth Monfette, 53, of Coventry, was taken into custody on Jan. 31 at approximately 7 a.m. without incident.
Police received a report of a family fight that occurred on the evening of Jan. 30 at a residence on Sylvester Drive.
Investigation revealed Monfette caused serious bodily injury to a family member, according to police.
Monfette was transported to the Vermont State Police Derby Barracks for processing.
He was ordered held without bail at the Northern State Correctional Facility.
Monfette is scheduled to be arraigned in Orleans County Criminal Court on Feb. 2 at 12:30 p.m.
