EDDINGTON, ME — Deputies from the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer truck on Main Road near the Dollar General store at approximately 5:45 p.m. Wednesday.
No injuries were reported to the driver or any other individuals.
The roadway has been reduced to one lane while a recovery wrecker removes the vehicle from the scene.
Cleanup and recovery efforts are underway, and the partial closure is expected to continue until the operation is complete.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and to use alternate routes.
Drivers should exercise caution, reduce speed and watch for emergency personnel and equipment in the vicinity.
