LITTLETON, N.H. — Two New Hampshire State Troopers and a Littleton police officer suffered minor injuries Friday afternoon after their vehicles were struck by a stolen truck on Interstate 93 during a pursuit in Littleton.
According to authorities, the incident began just after noon when State Troopers from the Troop F barracks were called to assist Gorham police in the pursuit of a stolen gray 2026 GMC Sierra.
The chase started on Route 115 in Jefferson and continued onto Route 3, Route 302, and I-93.
At 12:40 p.m., while heading north on I-93 in Littleton, the driver of the stolen vehicle intentionally rammed two State Police cruisers and a Littleton Police Department cruiser.
The collision disabled all three police vehicles involved, but another Littleton officer continued to pursue the suspect into Vermont.
The suspect continued north on I-93, crossed into Waterford, then entered I-91 southbound.
Vermont State Police deployed spike strips near Exit 18 in Barnet, causing the GMC Sierra to crash as the driver attempted to exit the interstate.
The driver, identified as Marisa Levesque, 42, of Groton, was arrested at the scene by Littleton Police and Vermont State Police officers.
The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit responded to investigate the crash.
Interstate 93 was closed in the area of Exit 43 in Littleton for the investigation, and northbound drivers were advised to take Exit 42 and use local roads to bypass the closure.
Criminal charges against Levesque in New Hampshire are pending.
Two Troopers and one Littleton officer were taken to a nearby hospital and evaluated for minor injuries as a precaution.
