RUTLAND TOWN, VT — Troopers from the Rutland Barracks responded to a citizen dispute at the exit to the Green Mountain Plaza parking lot on January 28, 2026, at 5:19 p.m.
An investigation revealed that Darleen Palmer, 58, of Rutland, assaulted Patricia King, 54, of Bennington.
Palmer was cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court Criminal Division to answer to the charge of simple assault.
She was lodged at Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility on $200 bail.
