BRANDON, VT — A 44-year-old woman was arrested on domestic assault charges following a disturbance on Jan. 27, 2026.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland barracks responded to Conant Square at approximately 7:22 p.m. for a domestic disturbance.
Through investigation, it was determined that Tammy Stanley, 44, of Brandon, had caused serious bodily injury to a family or household member.
Stanley was taken into custody and transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing.
Stanley was charged with first degree aggravated domestic assault and domestic assault.
She was held without bail and lodged at the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility.
