JOHNSTOWN, PA — A 24-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a fire in the 600 block of Grove Avenue.
Alaa Griffin, of Johnstown, was taken into custody and charged with arson-related offenses following an investigation by the Johnstown Police Department.
The fire occurred on Jan. 21, 2026, and caused significant damage to numerous residences on Grove Avenue.
Police credited the swift actions of first responders and detectives for leading to the identification and apprehension of the suspect.
