SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — South Windsor police arrested a Portland man on an active warrant Tuesday evening.
William B. Clark, 49, of Portland, was taken into custody at 6:17 p.m. Tuesday on a failure to appear warrant.
Police said Clark was a suspect in a shoplifting incident and was identified by officers.
Officers determined Clark had an active failure to appear warrant out of Middletown.
Clark was transported to South Windsor Police Headquarters, where he was processed and released on a $500 court set bond.
He is scheduled to appear in Middletown Superior Court on Feb. 10 at 9 a.m.
