SCITUATE, RI — Troopers arrested a Woonsocket man Tuesday morning on charges of eluding law enforcement and reckless driving.
Jake Anastas, 37, of Woonsocket, was taken into custody at 9 a.m. on charges of eluding law enforcement, vehicle in a high speed pursuit, first offense, and reckless driving, first offense.
The arrest resulted from a barracks investigation and Anastas being located by the Woonsocket Police Department.
Anastas was transported to Sixth District Court where he was arraigned as a bail violator.
