Man arrested on DUI charge in Enosburgh

ENOSBURGH, VT — A Sheldon man was arrested on a DUI charge following a crash on a snow-covered road late Monday night.

Jason Bessette, 28, of Sheldon, was taken into custody after troopers from the St. Albans Barracks responded to a crash on Grange Hall Road at 11:52 p.m. on Jan. 27.

Bessette was identified as the operator of a 2011 GMC Sierra involved in the crash.

While speaking with Bessette, troopers observed signs of impairment, according to Vermont State Police.

Bessette was transported to the Vermont State Police St. Albans Barracks for processing.

He was issued a citation for DUI refusal.

No injuries were reported in the crash.
