WARRINGTON, PA — Police arrested a woman accused of stealing more than $1,200 worth of merchandise from a Wegmans grocery store.
Officers responded to the store on Jan. 22, 2026, for a report of retail theft.
Loss prevention staff had detained Maryann Verzilli, 55, of Feasterville, in an office at the store.
Store personnel reported that Verzilli concealed $1,202 worth of merchandise inside bags and loaded the items onto a motorized cart.
Verzilli exited the store without paying for the merchandise and was detained by store personnel, according to police.
She was arrested and transported to the police station, where she was processed and later released.
Verzilli faces two felony retail theft charges.
