Two arrested on larceny charges in Candor

CANDOR, NY — The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people on Jan. 22 following a larceny investigation at Dollar General.

Lucas J. Matteson, 40, of Owego, was arrested and charged with petit larceny.

Matteson was found to have stolen items from the store, according to the sheriff’s office.

He was processed and issued an appearance ticket to appear in court at a later date in accordance with New York State Bail Reform.

Sandra I. Frisbie, 58, of Tioga, was arrested and charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.

Frisbie was found to have stolen items from the store, according to the sheriff’s office.

During the arrest, Frisbie was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

She was processed, issued appearance tickets and is due in court at a later date in accordance with New York State Bail Reform.
