Man arrested on menacing charge in Norwood

NORWOOD, NY — A Massena man has been arrested for allegedly threatening a high school exchange student.

Tucker J. Ludlow, 22, of Massena, was charged with menacing in the third degree, a Class B misdemeanor.

Norwood Village Police said Ludlow threatened a 17-year-old exchange student at Norwood Norfolk High School with physical harm.

Earlier this month, police were notified by the student’s host parent that an unknown male had come to their Norwood residence and threatened the student.

An investigation identified Ludlow as the suspect.

A warrant was obtained for Ludlow’s arrest.

With assistance from the Massena Village Police Department, Ludlow was arrested and turned over to Norwood officers.

He was arraigned in the Town of Norfolk, where an order of protection was issued for the student.

Ludlow is scheduled to answer the charges in Potsdam Town Court next month.
