WARDSBORO, VT — A man was arrested for violating an abuse prevention order approximately 1.5 hours after it was served, according to Vermont State Police.
Troopers from the Westminster Barracks were notified of the violation at 3:34 p.m. on Jan. 24, 2026.
An investigation led to the arrest of Michael J. Yeachshein, 57, of Wardsboro.
The incident occurred on Robinson Lane.
Yeachshein was taken into custody and ordered to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Windham County, Criminal Division on Jan. 26 at 12:30 p.m.
He is charged with violation of abuse prevention order.
