EGG HARBOR CITY, NJ — Police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred on the evening of Jan. 21, 2026.
At approximately 7:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 200 block of Cincinnati Avenue.
Upon arrival, responding personnel conducted a thorough canvas of the area.
The preliminary investigation confirms that while multiple shots were discharged, no individuals were injured, and no buildings or property were struck during the incident.
This investigation remains active and ongoing.
As of this time, no arrests have been made, and the identity of the person or persons responsible is still being sought.
Law enforcement is appealing to the community for any information that may assist in this investigation.
Residents in the area with exterior security cameras or doorbell cameras are encouraged to review their footage between the hours of 7:30 and 8:30 p.m.
