EAST MONTPELIER, VT — A Montpelier woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash on US Route 2 on Jan. 21, 2026.
Troopers from the Berlin Barracks responded to the crash near Muddy Brook Road at an undisclosed time.
Taylor Boardman, 27, of Montpelier, was identified as the operator of a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta.
The vehicle sustained major damage to the front bumper and hood.
Boardman suffered suspected minor injuries to the shoulder and neck and was treated at Central Vermont Medical Center.
While speaking with Boardman, troopers observed signs of impairment, according to police.
Boardman was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Berlin Barracks for processing.
She was cited to appear in Washington County Superior Court on Feb. 5 at 8:30 a.m. and released to Barre Probation and Parole.
The crash occurred during snowing conditions with light snow on the roadway.
